Instructions:

Preheat the Oven:
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and allow it to preheat while you prepare the dish.

Prepare the Baking Dish:
Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.

Slice the Onions:
Peel and clean the Vidalia sweet onions. Slice them into thick rounds, about ¼ inch thick, but do not separate the rings.

Layer the Onions:
Lay the onion slices in a single layer across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

Season the Onions:
Sprinkle salt, garlic powder, and oregano evenly over the onion rounds for flavor.

Add Butter:
Cut the butter into 8 small pats and distribute them evenly across the seasoned onions.

Top with Cheese:
Sprinkle the Italian blend cheese and cheddar cheese over the onions, making sure they’re evenly coated. Finish off by topping the dish with the shredded Parmesan.

Bake:
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes. The cheese should be golden and bubbling by the time it’s ready.

Serve Hot:
For the best flavor, serve these cheesy, delicious onions right out of the oven while they’re still warm.
