Steak with Bourbon Garlic Cream Sauce
Ingredients:
2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (10-12 oz each)
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 cup bourbon
3 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup beef broth
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (optional)
Extra fresh thyme or parsley, for garnish
