Smoky Dr Pepper Glazed Ribs

Directions:

Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs.

In a medium saucepan, combine Dr Pepper, ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until sauce thickens.

Place ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Brush both sides with the Dr Pepper sauce.

Cover ribs with aluminum foil and bake for 2.5 hours, basting occasionally with sauce.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Transfer ribs to the grill and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, basting with sauce and turning occasionally, until caramelized and slightly charred.

Remove from grill, let rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.
