Instructions:

Create the Sauce: In a large mixing bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if you prefer a bit of spice. Mix well to blend all the flavors together.

Setup the Slow Cooker: Place the frozen meatballs into the slow cooker.

Combine Sauce and Pineapple: Pour the prepared sauce over the meatballs, making sure they are well-coated. Toss in the drained pineapple chunks and mix gently.

Slow Cooking Time: Secure the lid of the slow cooker. Set it to cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours. The goal is for the meatballs to be thoroughly heated and the sauce to thicken slightly. Stir the mixture occasionally to keep the meatballs evenly coated.

Finishing Touches: Once cooked, sprinkle some fresh parsley over the meatballs for a fresh, herby touch.

Prep Time: 10 mins | Total Time: 5 hrs | Servings: 6
