Instructions:

Cook the Steak Bites:

Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels and season generously with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika (if using).
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the steak bites to the skillet in a single layer. Sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until a brown crust forms and the steak is cooked to your desired doneness (130°F for medium-rare, 140°F for medium).
Add 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 1 more minute, basting the steak bites with the garlic butter.
If using fresh thyme or rosemary, stir it in at the end. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside, covered to keep warm.

Cook the Shrimp:

In the same skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
Season the shrimp with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
Add 2 tablespoons of butter and the juice of 1 lemon to the skillet. Toss the shrimp in the lemon butter sauce for an additional minute.
Remove the shrimp from heat.

Serve:

Arrange the steak bites and shrimp on a serving platter.
Drizzle with any remaining pan juices and garnish with fresh parsley.
Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or over rice for a complete meal.

Tips:

Storage: Leftover steak bites and shrimp can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
Variations: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the shrimp for a spicy kick or use Cajun seasoning for a different flavor profile.
Additions: Serve with garlic bread or a light salad for extra balance and flavor.
