Directions:
Preheat Oven and Prepare Casserole:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Layer Ingredients:
Spread half of the cubed rye bread evenly in the baking dish. Top with half of the corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, Thousand Island dressing, and caraway seeds (if using). Repeat with remaining ingredients, ending with a layer of Swiss cheese on top.
Bake:
Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top layer of Swiss cheese. Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Slice and serve warm.
