RUTH’S GRANDMA’S PIE CRUST

FOR THE PIE, YOU’LL NEED JUST:

  • 200g.Of cake flour.
  • 100g.Of soft semi-salted butter.
  • 2 Tablespoons.Of CANOLA oil.
  • 2 Tablespoons.Of milk.
  • 2 Tablespoons.Of sugar.
  • An egg yolk.

DIRECTIONS:

  • Step 1: Blend the canola oil, with milk and sugar in a mixing bowl.
  • Step 2: After that add the butter and one egg yolk, then beat again until a homogeneous mass is reached.
  • Step 3: Then add the flour until a soft dough is made.
  • Step 4: Film the dough and let it sit in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  • Step 5: You just have to use it and spread it with your hand or a roller according to your inspiration.
