Quick and Delicious Tortilla Recipe
Ingredients:
- ½ Onion
- 3 cloves of Garlic
- 200g Ground Beef
- Salt, Black Pepper, Paprika (to taste)
- Olive Oil
- 10g Parsley (or Green Onion)
- 2 Tortillas
- Mozzarella Cheese
Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Thinly dice the onion and add it to the pan. Fry for about 2 minutes.
- Add minced garlic to the pan and fry for another minute.
- Cut an inch around one of the tortillas and dice the leftover portion. Add the diced tortilla to the pan and fry for 2 minutes.
- Add ground beef to the pan and fry for 3-5 minutes until cooked through.
- Season the beef mixture with salt, black pepper, and paprika to taste.
- Finely chop parsley (or green onion) and add it to the pan. Mix well and set aside.
- Place one tortilla on a clean surface. Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly on top.
- Sprinkle some mozzarella cheese over the beef.
- Cover the beef with the second tortilla.
- Sprinkle more mozzarella cheese on the edges of the tortilla.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla inward to form a parcel.
- Place a plate over the tortilla to hold its shape.
- Heat olive oil or butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Use the plate to flip the tortilla parcel into the pan.
- Brush some oil on top of the tortilla parcel and fry for 3 minutes.
- Use the plate to flip the tortilla parcel over and fry for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Once done, remove from the pan and serve hot.
