HOW TO MAKE POLISH SAUSAGE, SAUERKRAUT, AND POTATOES
- Step 1. Pour the Sauerkraut into the crockpot, undrained
- Step 2. After washing the potatoes and cutting into chunks, place the chunks on top of the Sauerkraut
- Step 3. Then layer the Polish Sausage chunks on top of the potatoes
- Step 4. In a small bowl combine the Chicken Broth with the Caraway seed and the Bay leaf, stir to mix
- Step 5. Pour this mix over the ingredients in the crockpot
- Step 6. Sprinkle with Salt and Pepper to taste
- Step 7. Cover the Crockpot, turn the heat to high
- Step 8. Cook for 4 hours
- Step 9. Remove the Bay leaf
- Step 10. Stir well before serving
