Freeze the flour. As soon as you get the flour home, put it in a freezer bag and freeze it for a week. This operation removes the butterflies and their eggs from the flour. Once removed from the freezer, store the flour in an airtight container.
vinegar . If you find a flour container attacked by moths, be sure to thoroughly clean the entire drawer or cabinet with vinegar. The smell of vinegar is not tolerated by flour butterflies. Remember to let the surfaces dry thoroughly before storing the flour again.
