Honey Garlic Shrimp, Sausage, and Broccoli

Instructions:

Preparation of Broccoli: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a bowl, mix the broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread the florets on a baking sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes until they are crispy and tender.

Sauce Creation: While the broccoli is roasting, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and optional sesame oil in a small bowl. Stir well and set aside for later.

Cooking Sausage: Place a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook for about 5-6 minutes until it’s nicely browned and crispy. Remove the sausage from the skillet and keep it aside.

Cooking Shrimp: Using the same skillet, cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and are fully cooked. Remove the shrimp from the skillet as well.

Combining with Sauce: Pour the previously prepared honey garlic sauce into the skillet and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. Add back the cooked sausage and shrimp, tossing them to coat thoroughly with the sauce.

Final Toss: When the broccoli is roasted, add it to the skillet and mix everything together to combine flavors.

Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions as garnishes if desired. This dish pairs wonderfully with rice or noodles.
