Grilled Cheese Avocado Mozzarella Tomato

 

Elevate the classic grilled cheese sandwich with the Grilled Cheese Avocado Mozzarella Tomato. This gourmet twist features melted mozzarella cheese, creamy avocado, and juicy tomato slices, all grilled to perfection between slices of golden-brown bread.

 

Ingredients:

– 8 slices bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)

– 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

– 2 avocados, sliced

– 2 tomatoes, sliced

– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.

2. Butter one side of each slice of bread.

3. Place a slice of bread, buttered side down, on the skillet. Layer with shredded mozzarella, avocado slices, and tomato slices.

4. Top with another slice of bread, buttered side up.

5. Cook the sandwich for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

6. Remove from the skillet and let the sandwich cool for a minute before slicing and serving.
