Potatoes and Fried Onions/Peppers with Smoked Sausage 🥔🧅🌶️
Ingredients with quantities for each ingredient:
- 4 potatoes, peeled and cut into slices
- 1 onion, sliced into rounds
- 1 red pepper, cut into strips
- 1 green pepper, cut into strips
- 500 grams of smoked sausage, cut into rounds
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Preparation :
- In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add the potato slices and fry until golden and crispy. Remove them from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the onion rings and pepper strips. Sauté them until they are tender.
- Add the smoked sausage rounds to the pan and brown them lightly.
- Return the cooked potato slices to the pan with the vegetables and sausage. Mix well.
- Sprinkle with paprika, salt and pepper. Mix again to distribute the seasonings.
Cooking :
Continue to cook the mixture over medium heat for a few more minutes, stirring occasionally, to warm all the ingredients and allow the flavors to blend.
When everything is hot, remove the pan from the heat.
Garnish (optional):
If desired, sprinkle fresh chopped parsley on top before serving.
