Maraschino Cherry Cake
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 9×13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Blend the cherries food processor and set aside.
- Combine the cake mix, eggs, oil and water in a large bowl. Mix in the Jell-o and pureed cherries.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30 minutes. Let cool before frosting.
- Top with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting.
Cherry Pie Filling Cake
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 9×13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Combine the cake mix, cherry pie filling, sour cream and eggs in a large bowl.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 35-40 minutes. Let cool before frosting.
Almond Cream Cheese Frosting
- Combine the softened butter and cream cheese. Add in the powdered sugar, almond extract and milk until blended. Frost the top of the cake.
