Instructions:

  • Cook Noodles:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Cook Beef and Onions:

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef. Cook, breaking up the meat as it browns.
When the beef is partially cooked, add the chopped onion and continue to cook until the onion is soft and the beef is no longer pink.

  • Add Garlic and Seasoning:

Simmer:

Allow the mixture to simmer until the gravy thickens, about 5-10 minutes. If it becomes too thick, you can thin it with water or more broth.

  • Optional Creamy Finish:

For a creamy version, stir in the heavy cream and mix well. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Combine:

Add the cooked egg noodles to the beef and gravy mixture, tossing everything together until well combined.
