Creamy Cajun Chicken Penne

Instructions:

Begin by generously seasoning the chicken strips with Cajun seasoning to ensure even coverage.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over a medium-high flame. Once hot, sauté the chicken for about 5-7 minutes until it’s nicely browned and fully cooked. Remove the chicken from the skillet and keep it warm on the side.

Using the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream, chicken broth, and sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes if desired.

Allow the mixture to simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring often, until it thickens slightly.

Whisk in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes creamy and smooth.

Introduce the cooked penne pasta to the sauce, tossing well to coat all the noodles.

Add back the sautéed chicken and, if you like, the diced tomatoes; cook for another 2-3 minutes to ensure everything is well-heated.

Serve the pasta sprinkled with fresh parsley.
