Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper.

Prepare your breading station with three separate bowls:

First bowl: all-purpose flour.

Second bowl: whisk together eggs and milk.

Third bowl: mix Italian breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.

Coat the chicken tenders by dredging them in flour, then dipping them into the egg mixture, and finally coating them with the breadcrumb mix.

Arrange the breaded tenders on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, until they’re crispy and cooked through.

While the chicken bakes, toast the Texas toast either in a toaster or oven.

Once the tenders are ready, top each with marinara sauce and sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.

Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and bubbling.

Serve each chicken tender on top of a slice of Texas toast, with extra marinara sauce if you like.

Enjoy this hearty, cheesy dish while it’s still hot!
