Cheesy Texas Toast

Cheesy Texas Toast is a delicious and easy-to-make side dish that pairs well with many meals. Here’s a simple recipe for you:

Ingredients:
  • 1 loaf of Texas Toast (you can find pre-sliced Texas Toast in the freezer section of most grocery stores)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the Texas Toast package.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. If you don’t have fresh parsley, you can use dried parsley flakes.
  3. Place the slices of Texas Toast on a baking sheet.
  4. Spread a generous amount of the garlic butter mixture on each slice of Texas Toast.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan.
  6. Sprinkle the cheese mixture evenly over each slice of bread, pressing it down a bit to make it stick.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Bake the Texas Toast in the preheated oven according to the package instructions or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute before serving.
