Cheesesteak Tortellini in Rich Provolone Sauce

Instructions:

Prepare the Tortellini: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook the tortellini per package directions until al dente, then drain and set aside.

Cook the Steak and Vegetables: Warm the olive oil in a sizable skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper, and sear each side for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove steak and set aside.

Utilize the same skillet to sauté the bell pepper, onion, and garlic for 4-5 minutes until they soften and become aromatic.

Craft the Provolone Sauce: In a different saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Blend in the garlic powder and heavy cream, and bring to a simmer. Gradually incorporate the provolone and Parmesan cheeses, stirring continuously until the sauce is creamy and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Assemble and Serve: Return the steak to the skillet with the vegetables, add the cooked tortellini, and drench with the provolone sauce. Mix well to ensure everything is evenly coated. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
