BUTTER COOKIES

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 Cups flour
  • 185g butter room temperature
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1½Cup icing sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

METHOD

  1. In a large bowl,sift together flour and salt,mix and set aside
  2. In a seperate bowl,beat butter and icing sugar until pale and creamy
  3. Add one egg and beat for about 3 min
  4. Add milk and vanilla extract ,mix
  5. Gradually add flour to the butter mixture and mix properly
  6. Place batter in pipping bags with different noozles
  7. Pipe batter in a greased and lined baking tray
  8. Place the tray in fridge and chill for 30m(cookies wont loose their shape when baking)
  9. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C until golden brown.
