Bacon Mushroom Swiss Cheese Meatloaf

Instructions:

Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Add-ins: Cook the bacon until crispy, then crumble it. In the same pan, sauté onions and mushrooms until soft and golden. Let them cool.

Combine the Ingredients: In a big mixing bowl, add ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, milk, Parmesan, bacon, Swiss cheese, the sautéed vegetables, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir to blend without overmixing.

Form and Top the Loaf: Shape the mixture into a loaf on a baking sheet. Coat with the extra ketchup.

Bake: Allow to bake for 60-70 minutes, or until it’s thoroughly cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).

Rest and Enjoy: Let the meatloaf sit for 10 minutes after baking, then slice and serve.
