- 9 x 13 baking dish

Ingredients

1 (15.25oz) box cake mix (any flavor)

1 (22oz) can pie filling (any flavor)

3 large eggs
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9″ x 13″ baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.

Place dry cake mix, pie filling, and 3 eggs into large mixing bowl. Using an electric hand mixer or wooden spoon mix ingredients until well incorporated. (Should be a fluffy thick consistency.)

Pour cake batter into prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes. Toothpick inserted into middle of cake should come out clean.

Allow cake to cool. Cut into squares. Enjoy.

cake will have a spongy, pudding like consistency with crispy edges. We love it without any type of frosting or icing.

my favorite flavor was lemon. I used the lemon cake mix with lemon pie filling. I was pleasantly surprised that it’s not over lemony.
