Apple slices covered with apple crust
Ingredients:
Ingredients for the shortcrust pastry:
- 180 g of wheat flour
- 3 eggs, size M
- 200 ml of milk
- 2 sachets of vanilla sugar and 1 tablespoon of sugar
- a pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 – 4 medium sized apples
- a little butter and/or oil for cooking
Preparation:
Place the ingredients for the dough in a bowl, mix until you obtain a smooth dough and leave to rest for 5-10 minutes.
In the meantime, peel the apples, cut them into slices that are not too thick/fine and remove the core.
Heat the oil and/or butter in a non-stick pan.
Dip the apple rings into the batter, drain them briefly and place them in the pan.
Turn them and brown them over medium heat, then drain them on kitchen paper and eat them with a sprinkling of cinnamon/sugar or icing sugar.
